Teachers and gurus that shaped me in the art form
My journey as a Bharatanatyam dancer commenced with a hobby class under the guidance of Smt. Sapna Kamat at the tender age of 5 years.
What began as a mere hobby soon transformed into a profound passion. Over the course of two decades, I have undergone intensive training in Bharatanatyam under the expertise of renowned masters such as Dr. Prakriti Bhaskar, Shri Deepak Mazumdar, and Udyogamandalam Shri Vikraman Pillai. The enriching journey also granted me the privilege of seeking guidance from the distinguished Padma Shri Adyar K Lakshman, contributing significantly to my artistic development.
Furthermore, I have delved into the intricacies of Mohiniattam under the esteemed guidance of Smt. Mandakini Trivedi. And I am proud to be part of and associated with Shaktiyogashrama Gurukulam, an educational and cultural center located near Pune. This affiliation has not only expanded my artistic horizons but also deepened my connection to the rich cultural and educational tapestry fostered by the institution.
Each Guru has played a pivotal role in shaping my artistic identity, contributing to the depth and richness of my classical dance journey.
